Location privacy
Rider Recall does not need to publish your location all the time. The app asks for location permission so it can provide map presence, nearby riders, weather, and ride HUD context. Your location is shared with other users only when you use a visibility feature such as Go visible. Hide me stops active map presence.
Do not use Rider Recall as an emergency dispatch service. If there is immediate danger, call local emergency services.
How we share information
We share your information only as needed to operate the app. Other users may see your public or friend-visible rider profile, your posts, your chat messages, your event information, your check-ins, and your live map presence according to the visibility choices available in the app. We may use service providers for hosting, storage, email, push notifications, maps, weather, analytics/diagnostics, and Google Play billing. These providers process data to deliver their services.
Third-party services
Rider Recall may use Google Play Billing for subscriptions, Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications, map tile providers for map display, and weather APIs for temperature/weather data. These services may receive technical data such as IP address, device/app request data, or location coordinates needed to provide the requested feature.
Data retention
We keep account, profile, bike, friendship, event, and subscription records while your account is active or as needed for security, fraud prevention, legal, or business records. Live presence is intended to be temporary. User-generated content such as posts, chats, road alerts, or events may remain until deleted, expired, moderated, or removed through account deletion.
